Calorie Tracker Buddy is an AI-powered fitness and nutrition app that combines photo-based meal tracking, step counting, calorie burn monitoring, and a virtual pet companion into a single mobile experience. Instead of manually entering food into a database, users simply snap a photo of their meal, and the AI identifies the food, calculates calories, and breaks down macros, protein, carbs, and fat instantly. 

A built-in menu scanner lets users point their camera at any restaurant menu (printed, handwritten, or foreign-language) and get per-dish calorie estimates, macro breakdowns, and Good/Okay/Skip ratings calibrated to their personal daily goal. The virtual pet, "Buddy", grows stronger with every healthy choice meal logged, step taken, and water tracked and loses energy when users fall off track, adding a gamification layer that most nutrition apps skip entirely.
